OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
These are the Official Contest Rules (“Official Contest Rules”) for Sixty Seven Sins “Fall Bag Giveaway” Contest
These rules govern the contest and contest prizes, regardless of whether Sixty Seven Sins awards such prizes. Sixty Seven Sins is the sole sponsor and administrator of this contest, which is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any third parties including Instagram.
By participating, entrants acknowledge that Instagram bears no responsibility for this promotion and no liability whatsoever in connection with this contest. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the contest must be directed to Sixty Seven Sins and not to Instagram.
No purchase necessary to enter or win. By participating, entrants fully agree to comply with and abide by these rules and the decisions of Sixty Seven Sins. Void where prohibited by law.
Entry Period: The Contest is scheduled to begin on October 1st, 2024 and end on October 8th at 11:59 P.M. EST.
Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who have reached the minimum age (19+) for purchasing and consuming cannabis in Ontario. Employees of Sixty Seven Sins and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the contest. Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and local laws and regulations.
How to Enter: To enter the Contest participants must meet entry requirements.
Entry Conditions (“Entry Conditions”): Entries must not:
(i) include defamatory or disparaging words/statements;
(ii) threaten any person, place, business, or group;
(iii) include (as applicable) material that is in any way unlawful, in violation of or contrary to all applicable federal, provincial or municipal laws and regulations; or
(iv) include (as applicable) material that is inappropriate, indecent, profane, obscene, hateful, tortuous, slanderous or libelous.
Sixty Seven Sins reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove any submission materials which are deemed inappropriate by Sixty Seven Sins, in its sole discretion; and disqualify any entrant who is found to be acting in violation of any of the Official Contest Rules.
Prize: Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries to each win a prize. Prize will be distributed within thirty (30) days after the winner has been successfully contacted and notified of their prizes and fulfilled the requirements set out herein.
Shipped prizes shall not be insured and Sixty Seven Sins shall not assume any liability for lost, damaged or misdirected prizes. Prizes are not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash. Any applicable Federal, provincial and local tax liabilities are the responsibility of the winners.
Winner Selection: The number of winners will be randomly selected based on available inventory. The odds of winning depend on how many eligible entries have been received.
Winner Notification: The potential winner will be notified by Sixty Seven Sins via Instagram Direct Message or email, depending on the winner’s method of contest entry. SIXTY SEVEN SINS will provide an email address (or other contact information) where the potential winner may make a Prize claim. A winner must respond to such notifications within three (3) business days of receipt and must provide Sixty Seven Sins with full contact details in order to be awarded the Prize.
Refusal by Winner to Accept Prize: Any refusal by a winner to accept a Prize, as awarded and in its entirety, hereby releases and forever discharges Sixty Seven Sins from all obligations to the winner.
General Release:
By participating in the Contest, the potential winner agrees to hold Sixty Seven Sins and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, successors, assigns, advertising, promotion and public relations agencies, service agencies and independent contractors, and all of those entities' respective directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from and against any and all liability for any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and injury and property loss or damage, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Contest, or arising out of participation in any Contest-related activity, or due or related to the receipt, use or misuse of the whole or any part of any Prize or Prize-related activity (including any travel or activity related thereto), or the use by Sixty Seven Sins or its designees of any entry or component thereof. WITHOUT LIMITING THE GENERALITY OF THE FOREGOING, EACH PRIZE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ON THE PART OF ALL RELEASEES. RELEASEES HEREBY DISCLAIM ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND/OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Limitation of Liability: Sixty Seven Sins assumes no liability for lost, late, unintelligible/illegible, falsified, damaged, misdirected or incomplete entries, notifications, responses, replies or any Declaration and Release, or for any computer, online, software, telephone, hardware or technical malfunctions that may occur, including but not limited to malfunctions that may affect the transmission or non-transmission of an entry. Sixty Seven Sins is not liable for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest. Sixty Seven Sins assumes no liability for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sixty Seven Sins is not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest. Entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any Prize.
Interruption or Force Majeure: Sixty Seven Sins assumes no liability in the event that it is prevented from continuing the Contest for any reason beyond the control of Sixty Seven Sins including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, or any federal, provincial or local government law, order or regulation, or order of any court or jurisdiction.
False or Misleading Information: Any entry, Declaration and Release or any other document required by Sixty Seven Sins for any reason that is incomplete, altered, or contains false or misleading information, shall be invalid and the person who submits such entry or document will be disqualified from the Contest.
Email Accounts and Addresses: An authorized account holder of an e-mail address is the individual assigned to the e-mail address for the domain by an internet provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institute, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
Collection and Use of Personal Information: Personal information will only be collected, used and disclosed by Sixty Seven Sins and its respective designees for the purpose of administering the Contest in accordance with these Official Contest Rules.
Publicity: By accepting a Prize, the winner agrees that Sixty Seven Sins and its respective designees may use the winner’s name, social media username, photographs, videos, likenesses, city of residence, biographical information, Prize information and/or statements about this Contest for advertising and/or publicity purposes in any and all media (now or hereafter known) in perpetuity, without compensation, notification, or permission, unless otherwise prohibited by law.
